To show the differences in expansion of different liquids over the same temperature. Comprising five bulb tubes with plastic scales, mounted in a frame & supported in a G.I. sheet water trough 240 x 100 x 75 mm deep. The frame has clamps to secure it to the trough & two cross members having holes & upper tubules to locate the bulb tubes in bungs complete with 35 mm diameter bulbs & 150 mm scales etc.
